Description

Dainty woodblock prints and hand-drawn designs in olive green and pink are featured on hand-dyed fabric. This set of four coasters has different patterns on either side. Everything sold on Kokuin is handmade by the owner, Soumya James, including the sewing, printing, and painting.

Materials

• Fabric: The two faces of the coasters are made with 100% hand-dyed cotton and filled with 100% cotton batting that works well for absorption. Ideal for your chilled glass and your hot drink.
• Print: The prints are made with non-toxic textile paint that is permanent and colorfast.

• Gentle spot clean with mild soap if necessary and your coasters will brighten up your table for a long time.
• Warm iron if needed.

Machine washing not recommended

The designs in this product use textile paint. The paint itself is colorfast and won’t bleed. So, you can wash it, even in a machine. In fact, I occasionally wash some of my own pieces in a machine and tumble dry on low. You might ask, why don’t I recommend the same to you?

Although the paint is permanent according to the manufacturer, the friction from repeated washes in a machine may eventually cause some areas to rub off. I continue to try to improve the sturdiness of the products, and use my own pieces for ongoing testing. So, I recommend only spot-cleaning with mild soap and cool water.
